After taking delivery of his Vantage, Captain Greg Dini invited Marc and Graham to come out and fish and film Louisiana for it’s monster redfish and black drum. With some of the worst and varied weather possible, thanks to the Vantage and it’s amazing dry ride and fishabilty, big fish where still caught on both fly and spin. Day one started out with chilly temperatures and a dense fog bank that moved in over the lower Mississippi peninsula and visibility stayed at or under a boats length the entire day. Day two was a wash as it down poured the entire day and the guys got a tour of New Orleans instead. Day three the sun shined but with cloudy water from the previous days floods and winds howled with constants speeds of 25-30 knots. Day four was the worst as the temperature was in the 40′s, the wind was pushing in the 25 knot range, and it was raining the entire day. With all of this crumby weather, each day there were big fish brought to the boat. Check out the Vantage, and Captain Greg Dini‘s website for more along with the pictures and video below.
