We also offer angling opportunities to catch lake run browns, steelhead and huge bright silver Chinook Salmon… join us in the fall for some fantastic runs as they stage for their fall spawning migration. We are strategically located near the tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula, in the midst of the most beautiful Great Lakes flats and inland waterways, north of the 45th parallel, notably the best location in the great lakes for large and plentiful carp fishing. Poling silently through crystal clear water flats, you will find nothing short of a carribean like experience in our gorgeous northern climate. We are minutes from Ernest Hemingway’s famous summer retreat.Join us on our new Vantage flats boat by East Cape Skiff, designed and fully equipped to handle the waters of the Great Lakes. Powered by a 115 HP Evinrude Etech HO, we will quickly get to the prime locations, then pole steathfully in inches deep flats with fishes backs and tails out of the water as our hunt begins.

Leo is a native New Englander, who has spent many years living in Florida and has over forty years of fishing experience for both fresh and saltwater species from northern coastal Maine to the flats of Florida. He has a B.S. in Marine Biology from Roger Williams College in Rhode Island and began his career as a staff Marine Biologist for Sea World of Florida. Leo has been passionately studying and fishing varied aquatic environments the whole of his life. He seriously pursues both fresh and saltwater species, specializing in fly fishing but also offers conventional methods for the light tackle enthusiast.
