Customer Meet-N-Greet and Photo Tournament

The first official East Cape owners meet-n-greet was held on February 20, 2010 along with an industry first of it’s kind photo contest. Over forty skiffs and hundreds of participants were out to hang out with other East Cape owners, checking out boats, fishing, and seeing faces from the forum for the first time. After the meet-up on the island, those that brought along their camera headed to New Smyrna Outfitters for some snack and to “weigh-in” their photo to capture the moment. East Cape would like to thank all of the customers, fans, and friends that came by for both the meet-and-greet and the photo tournament this past weekend. A great time was had by all. We were pleased with the turn out of over 40 boats and hundreds of participants. We anticipate an even better turnout for our next event! First place in the photo contest went to Bobby Brannan, who won a $500 gift certificate to New Smyna Outfitters and a tackle bag. Second place went to Richard Traugott and third place went to Tom Royal. We also held a raffle where winners were awarded a bunch of cool prizes from the event sponsors. We would also like to thank the other sponsors and vendors including New Smyrna Outfitters, Fish Bites, Carbon Marine, Wang Anchors, and Boldwater for their instrumental help an support. Keep an eye out soon for another event that will be even bigger and better!
